About Us

Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home & Crematory has been serving Lewisburg area families for years. We are honored to be a part of the rich history of this community and plan to be a part of it for many years to come.

Bills McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home and Crematory is a family owned business celebrating 100 years of service in the year 2016. We are located within the same facility updated for your comfort and arranged to make you feel right at home. The family of Bills McGaugh & Hamilton feels honored by the trust and confidence a family places in us during the most difficult time of their life. Our staff takes great pride in meeting the needs of the bereaved family during their sorrow.

We offer an array of total services to meet the needs of each individual. Traditional funeral services may be held in our spacious chapel at the funeral home as well as any other desired location such as your church or at graveside. We have the only on-site Crematory in Lewisburg offering the service of cremation with your family member never leaving Bills McGaugh & Hamilton. We carry a large selection of caskets, vaults, and cremation urns with varied price ranges. Transportation will be provided by one of our staff to another location with your family’s remains as well as receiving and completing burial arrangements from another location. You can be confident of us taking care of your family member just as we would our own, with respect, honesty and integrity.

We can also take care of your pre-arrangements and monument selections. Pre-arrangements insure your desires and wishes will be carried out and are met at the same cost as on the day they were made. This eliminates a lot of decision making for your family at a time of great sorrow. Monuments may be purchased at any time from the selection located here at the funeral home or can be specially designed.

Sunset Park Cemetery is located on the grounds of Bills McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. It was developed in June of 1987 and is a perpetual care facility. Sunset Park has above ground mausoleums, above ground niche walls for cremated remains, single and double depth lawn crypts as well as traditional ground burial sites.

Just give us a call at (931) 359-2521 or come by our office at 755 Yell Road at any time to discuss pre-arrangements or services that we may help you with. At home visits can also be scheduled if it would be more convenient.

Community Committed

Honor and celebrate life in a setting fit for remembering legends.

Since we opened our doors in 1916, we have vowed to be attentive and grow with the needs of our community. In June 1987, our on-property cemetery, Sunset Park Memorial Gardens & Mausoleum was established as a perpetual care cemetery. Sunset Park offers a community mausoleum, above ground cremation niches, single and double depth lawn crypts as well as traditional ground burial sites. Upon realizing that there was a need for a local crematory, in 2013, we established Marshall County’s first on-site crematory. With that expansion, all of your cremation services began to be handled and managed by our trained staff. To our families, this means your loved one never leaves our care. We want families to be able to focus on celebrating the life of their loved ones and to begin the healing process as soon as possible. It is our top priority to relieve the family of as many of the duties associated with making memorial or funeral arrangements as possible.

Our Commitment

  • We have a duty to grow with our community by listening, learning, investing, educating and guiding families through loss.
  • That is our Community Commitment.
  • Listening to what our community expects and needs from a funeral home.
  • Learning about our families and how to best honor and celebrate the life of their loved one.
  • Investing in our facility to provide a truly comfortable, familiar, healing environment.
  • Educating about ceremony, cremation, memorials, service, burial and funeral options.
  • Guiding the families of Marshall and surrounding counties through loss, providing options to meet any financial situation.
  • We believe that all grieving and pre-planning families deserve guidance, genuine care and options.
  • We will explore options and ideas that go beyond traditional thinking, making final good-byes memorable, reverent and affordable. We want healing to begin here.
  • We believe an important part of life is doing meaningful work.
  • We take pride in being the caring professionals that our community relies on at their time of need.
