Virginia Evelyn Clark

Virginia "Evelyn" Clark, age 93 of Lewisburg, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2013, in NHC Healthcare-Lewisburg. A native of Lincoln County, Mrs. Clark was the daughter of the late William Alex Sanders and Grace Taylor Sanders . She was retired from Lewisburg Electric as an accountant, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and a member of First United Methodist Church of Lewisburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty-two years, James Lawrence Clark, who passed away in 1994, and a son, Loyd Allen Clark. She is survived by two sons, Kevin (Wendi) Clark, of Lewisburg and Lee (Iliana) Clark, of Murfreesboro. Five grandsons, five granddaughters, a sister, Adelaide Bigham of Lewisburg, and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Clark will be Saturday, October 12, 2013, at 2 PM from the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery in Lewisburg. Visitation with the family will be Friday, October 11, 2013, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home and on Saturday after 1 PM until the funeral hour.
