VICKIE MARLENE JONES
Vickie Marlene Jones, 46, of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010, at Williamson Medical Center, after an extended illness.
She was a native of Rockford, Illinois, but had resided in Marshall County the majority of her life. She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Clyde Lee and Annie Shires Jones and maternal grandparents, Henry and Dolas Simmons Bass.
Vickie is survived by her husband of 21 years, Stanley E. Whittaker of Lewisburg; daughter, Robyn Jones Romero of Lewisburg; 2 step-sons: Chris Whittaker of Nashville and Brian Whittaker of Sacremento, California; father, James F. Jones of Tullahoma; mother, Mary Bass Vanloon of Nashville; 8 brothers: Randal Patricia Jones; Darren Jones; Kelly Ray Jones; Christopher Jones; Jerry Jones, all of Bedford County; Timmy Jones of Rutherford County; Steve Jones of Coffee County; Tracy Kelly Jones of Cornersville: 1 sister, Tina Chapman of Michigan; 1 granddaughter, Julia A. Romero and 1 grandson, Juan J. Romero, both of Lewisburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Miss Jones will be Saturday, February 20, 2010 from 1-3 P.M. at Bills McGaugh funeral home. There will be no funeral.
