Velma Mars

Mrs. Velma Lee Mars, age 83 of Lewisburg, died Friday afternoon in NHC-Oakwood. A native of Rowell, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Taylor and Elzie Lena Sinclair Reed, a farmer and member of the Baptist Church, and the widow of Russel Mars, who preceded her in death in March of 2003. Mrs. Mars is survived by a sister: Flo Arpasey of Lewisburg, and a daughter: Patricia Bajwa of Wisconsin. Under the direction of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home, private services for Mrs. Mars will be conducted.
