Thomas Edward Ussery

Thomas Edward Ussery, 67, resident of Lewisburg, died on Monday, October 3, 2022, at St. Thomas West.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, Oct. 7^th at 1 PM at Thomison Cemetery in the Wheel Community. The family will visit with friends from 10:30 AM until 12 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home.

A Lewisburg native, he was born on April 25, 1955, to the late Terry Ussery and the late Elizabeth Evans Ussery. He enjoyed pitching horseshoes, playing cards with friends, and cooking. He loved his family and loved to entertain them by joking and laughing. He was known by friends and family to have a heart of gold.

Survivors include his sons, Durell (Cynthia) Thomison, Ronnie (Tasha) Thomison; Chaddrick (Myesha) Lyttle; brothers, Billy Joe (Tammy) Ussery, Ray Anthony (Janice) Ussery, Johnny Ussery; sisters. Lisa Ussary, Tracey Cowthorn; special aunt, Mamie Mayes; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Thomison Ussery.
