Tammy Michelle Beatty Cox, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026, at the age of 51. Born on November 14, 1974, Tammy was truly an extraordinary individual known for her amazing spirit, warmth, and understanding nature. She was a Christian and a member of East Commerce Baptist Church. Her faith was an important part of her life, guiding her with love, compassion, and kindness. She touched the lives of many, leaving behind cherished memories that will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Tammy had a remarkable gift for conversation; she could easily engage anyone, sharing stories and laughter that brightened their day. Her life was filled with creativity and passion, particularly evident in her love for Halloween. For years, she dedicated her time and talents to building and creating a haunted house at Oak Grove School, bringing joy and excitement to the community.

A true fan of horror movies and drama shows, Tammy spent countless hours enjoying her favorite films and television series. She had an eye for design, always striving to perfect the decor and ambiance of a room, transforming spaces into welcoming sanctuaries.

Tammy's spirit will live on in the hearts of her children, family, and friends, as well as in the memories forged through laughter and love.

Funeral services for Tammy will take place at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at the chapel of Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her life and the mark she left on all of us. The burial will follow at Palmetto Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, and will continue until the time of the funeral service.

Tammy is survived by her son, Bradley Cox, daughter, Abby Cox, brother, Matthew Griggs (Gerika), sisters, Sandy Jones (Kenneth) and Jessica Jenkins (Ronnie), and numerous other family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Judy Beatty Andrews, father, Johnny Griggs, son, Thomas Patrick Cox, daughter, Molly Ann Cox, brother, Jimmy Andrews, and sisters, Angel Andrews and Mary Jones.

In this time of mourning, let us all remember Tammy for the amazing, loving person she was, and let us carry her spirit in our hearts forever.
