Listen to Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stanley Nelson Stinnett, who left us on February 23, 2026, just a day before his 73rd birthday. Born on February 24, 1953, in Lewisburg, TN, Stanley was a true son of the soil, loving every moment spent on the farm. He had a special connection to the outdoors, whether it was casting a line for fish or riding his motorcycle down winding country roads.

Stanley was more than just a skilled cable installer; he was a jack-of-all-trades, a mechanic at heart who loved tinkering with all sorts of things and had a knack for electrical work. His selflessness shone through in everything he did, always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh with friends. He cherished his family deeply, especially his beloved daughter, Stacey Escobosa, and valued the genuine friendships he built throughout his life.

Stanley was a devoted dog lover and had a boundless affection for the simple pleasures in life. He was the kind of person who made an unforgettable impact on those lucky enough to know him. His kindness and generous spirit touched everyone around him, and he will be so dearly missed.

Stanley is preceded in death by his parents, Grover C Stinnett Jr. and Myrtle G Stacey Stinnett, brothers, Sebastian Stinnett and Angelo Stinnett. He is survived by his daughter, Stacey Escobosa, sister, Wanda Harvey, grandchildren, Lydia Molina, Hailey Stinnett, Matthew Stinnett Messick, Ronald Mayberry, and Sharon Fonken, and great grandchildren, Allison Molina, Markell Fonken, Israel Fonken, and Remmington Stinnett.

Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
