Sheila Phllips

June 10, 1963 — December 19, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sheila Jayne Phillips, who left us on December 19, 2024, at the age of 61. Born on June 10, 1963, to Hybride Lee and Eva Newcomb Barron. Sheila was a bright light in the lives of those who knew her. She was not only a devoted caregiver but a loving friend, always ready to lend a helping hand and a warm smile, even when times got tough.

Sheila had an undeniable passion for life—she cherished her animals and found joy in the little things, whether it was tuning into the Discovery Channel or indulging in a little retail therapy with the Gem Shopping Network. Her love for the game Farmville kept her entertained, showcasing her playful and creative spirit.

Sheila was a fighter, never one to back down when faced with challenges. She embodied warmth, resilience, and an unwavering determination that inspired everyone around her.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Sheila’s remarkable life. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, December 23, 2024, at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. A visitation will be held prior to the funeral service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, December 23, 2024. Brooks Lee Barron, Montana Benoit, Robert Justin Pigg, Richard Lee Phillips, Harvey Allen Barron, and Brian Barron will serve as pallbearers. We hope to see everyone who loved Sheila gather together to share memories and laughter—just as she would have wanted.

In Lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Lewisburg Animal Shelter at 300 Woodside St Lewisburg, TN 37091.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sons, Robert Justin Pigg, and Richard Lee Phillips, brothers, Harvey Allen Barron and Brian Barron, numerous nieces and nephews, and several bonus children.

Rest in peace, Sheila. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.
