Sheila Mae Justus, 77, of Cornersville, TN, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2025. Born on April 5, 1948, in Elwood, IN, Sheila was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished friend to many.
Sheila completed her education at secretarial school, later finding her first professional role in hospital admissions. However, it was her 30-year career as a rural mail carrier that truly defined her working life, where her dedication and kindness touched countless lives in the community.
She was married to her beloved husband, Willis Justus, for an incredible 57 years. Together, they built a loving home filled with laughter and warmth. Sheila loved nothing more than tending to her garden, where she felt a deep joy growing flowers and nurturing the beauty of nature around her. Her passion for gardening was matched only by her devotion to her family. Sheila was known for her pleasant demeanor and was regarded as a “great woman” by all who knew her. An avid shopper, she derived joy from finding just the right item at the best price, giving her the title of “Super Shopper.”
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Zoda Hewitt Hobbs.
