Sarah Inez Gupton

Mrs. Sarah Inez Gupton, age 95 of Kingston, Tennessee, died Monday at Rockwood Healthcare. A native of Leeds, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late James and Emma Harmon Graham and a member of the Mooresville Methodist Church. Mrs. Gupton was a retired Executive Secretary at Faber-Castell Corporation in Lewisburg. She was preceded in death by her husband: Kipp J. Gupton in Jan of 1985: two sisters: Janie G. Mathis and Nell G. Knowles; and a brother, E. Hayden Graham. Mrs. Gupton is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Terry Alan Sandy Gupton of Harriman, TN; brother: James J. Graham of Birmingham, AL; 2 granddaughters: Holly Rader and Jessica Gupton; step-grandchildren: Danny Inman and Connie Sue Bales; 2 great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Bryant Cemetery at Mooresville. The family will be at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 7:00 PM for visitation. Bills McGaugh Funeral Home and the United States Forest Service have provided for the planting of a tree in memory of Mrs. Gupton.
