Richard Turner

Mr. Richard Roy Turner, age 89, died Friday afternoon at his Lewisburg residence. A native of Marshall County, he was the son of the late Julius P. & Florence Stallings Turner, retired with 38 years of service from the enameling department at Heil-Quaker Corporation, and was a life-long member of the Lewisburg First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mr. Turner is survived by his wife: Christine Guthrie Turner; a sister: Mrs. Agnes T. Long, both of Lewisburg, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted Sunday at 3:30 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Shelbyville. The family will be at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home on Saturday from 4:00 8:00 PM for visitation, and again on Sunday from 12:00 noon 2:00 PM for visitation. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Lewisburg First Cumberland Presbyterian Church or the charity of your choice.
