Randall Darrell Dunn, 68 died July 13, 2023. Mr. Dunn was the son of the late Claude Darrell Dunn and Emily Neill Walker Dunn Logue.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Wills Dunn; one stepbrother, Robert Logue; one stepsister, Dusty Post; eight nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Kenny Dunn; stepfather, Neal Logue; stepsister, Debbie Logue; and grandparents Hoyt and Myrtle Walker.

The family will have a private burial.

Mr. Dunn graduated from Maplewood High School in Nashville, TN. He was a 1976 graduate of the University of the South, Sewanee, TN, with a Bachelor of Arts degree and was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He also earned multiple certifications from the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing, for whom he conducted national training programs in procurement, contract management and construction management.

He worked for the Metro Development & Housing Agency and Metro Transit Authority for 28 years. He was responsible for many major projects that improved Nashville, including the design and construction of the Nashville Arena (now Bridgestone Arena), the Tennessee Titans Stadium (now Nissan Stadium), and Music City Central (MTA’s downtown transit center).

He became City Manager of Lewisburg, TN, in 2013 and retired in 2020. In addition to the many improvements he helped bring about for the city, he also started the Whittlers’ Club, providing homemade ice cream and an opportunity for friends to relax, whittle, and enjoy each other’s company.
