Ralph Grubb

April 13, 1935 — July 5, 2015

Mr. Ralph Grubb Jr., age 80 of Lewisburg, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.

A native of Flint, MI, he was the son of the late Ralph Grubb, Sr. and Ellen Taylor Grubb. He retired from General Motors after forty-two years of service. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, was a member of the American Legion Post 19, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 108, AMVETS, and the Vietnam Era Veterans of Shelbyville. He was previously the 5th District Commander of the VFW. Ralph was an avid animal lover and enjoyed traveling.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Dorothy Butler Grubb of Lewisburg; one daughter, Tammy Grubb of Lewisburg; one son, Brooke (Amy) Grubb of Fayetteville; and one sister, Lois Coles of Flint, MI.
Memorial services for Mr. Grubb will be conducted on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 3 PM from the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be on Saturday from 1 PM until the service hour.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to any veterans organization of your choice.
