Preston Cole Stewart

Preston Cole Stewart, beloved son of Alexis and Jacob Stewart, was born in Colorado Springs, CO on October 2nd, 2020. He brought immense joy and love into the lives of his family from the moment he entered this world. Tragically, Preston departed from this life on August 29th, 2024 in Nashville, TN.

Preston's passing has left an indescribable void in the hearts of his parents and extended family. His grandparents: Sherita Stewart (Jerry Prince), Eloise Dalton, Miguel Garcia (Mary Casillas), Chris Cathey (Courtney Cathey) are devastated by the loss of their precious grandchild.
Great-grandparents: Brenda Grieshaber and Scott Grieshaber; Antonio Garcia and Margarita Gutierrez; Randy Cathey Sr.(Shirley Osborne); Jerry Proffitt mourn deeply for Preston as well.

Aunts: Krissy Cathey (Austin Penley), Kayla Holden, Anyaha Dalton,Kyleigh Dalton, Hannah Dalton, Yanet Garcia
 Uncles: Dillon Proffitt, Deon Ford, Miguel Garcia-Proffitt, Angel Garcia all cherished their time with Preston. Cousins Aspen Proffitt, Braxton Cobb, Olivia Penley will forever miss him too. Countless other relatives and friends also grieve for Preston's untimely departure.

Preston's short but impactful life was filled with love and happiness. He adored his mommy and daddy beyond measure - they were his whole world. One could often find him watching each Winnie the Pooh movie repeatedly - finding comfort in those familiar tales that brought a smile to his face every time.

As he grew older during his brief time on earth, Preston discovered a newfound passion for Taylor Swift’s music along with a deep appreciation for all genres of music that stirred emotions within him like nothing else could. But above all else – cuddles from mommy & watching Ny Giants games with his daddy were what made him happiest.

The loss of such a beautiful soul is immeasurable to those who knew him best – yet it is undeniable that even at such a tender age he touched countless lives with his infectious smile and boundless affection.

In honor of Preston’s memory let us remember not only the sorrow we feel at losing someone so dear but also celebrate how profoundly he impacted our lives during his time here among us.
May you rest peacefully sweet boy, knowing you were loved more than words can express.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Bills McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. Funeral will follow at 4:00 PM. Memorials may be made in Preston’s memory to the Ronald McDonald House.
