Paulette Holly Hecklinger, 77, resident of Hermitage, died on Friday, April 9, 2021. Graveside Services will be conducted on Thursday, April 15th at 1 PM at Lone Oak Cemetery with Reverend Steve Durham officiating. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 11 AM until 12:45 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. She was the daughter of the late Paul Burger and Sue Farris Burger. She loved gardening and the outdoors. Paulette was very independent, and devoted her life to her family. She also enjoyed shopping, especially thrift shopping. Survivors include her sons, Thomas (Trish) Holly, Jr of Hermitage, Joshua Holly of Antioch; daughter, Carol (Tim) Holly Hamby of Orlando, FL; brother, Ken (Judy) Burger of Murfreesboro; sisters, Betsy (Lee) Allen of Atlanta, GA, Sarah Bryan of Fayetteville, TN; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Gerald Holly and Sam Hecklinger; sister, Mary Michaels; and great-granddaughter, Emily Chambers. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorial contributions can be made to The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Nashville P.O. Box 41834, Nashville, TN 37204.
