Paulette Brown, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on September 21, 2024, at the age of 74, in her home in Lewisburg, TN. Born in Nashville on June 12, 1950, Paulette was a compassionate soul with a deep love for her family and friends.
Throughout her life, Paulette's caring spirit and love for others shone brightly. She was devoted to her children, Mechele, Diawn, Bobby, and Amanda, whom she cherished beyond measure. Paulette had a special fondness for children and always found joy in their laughter and energy.
Paulette had a passion for gardening, sewing, and cooking, skills she shared generously with those around her. She found peace in tending to her garden and creating beautiful pieces through sewing. Her culinary talents brought comfort and delight to many. Paulette also found peace in watching Gateway Church on TV.
Paulette was a hard worker throughout her life. Her work ethic and dedication were admired by all who knew her. In her moments of leisure, Paulette enjoyed searching through her genealogy and learning more about her ancestry.
Paulette was preceded in death by her father, Fred Mangrum; mother, Lena Voorhies; husband, Gary Brown; grandchild, Courtney Rigdon; and her daughter in law, Dana Pace. She is survived by her children, Bobby Joe Pace Jr, Mechele Campbell (Don), Diawn Rigdon (Melvin), and Amanda Pace; brothers, Tommy Mangrum (Gail) and Kenny Mangrum; sister, Jane Canady; grandchildren Melanie, Michael, Kristin, Wraith, Matthew, and Brittany; and numerous great grandchildren.
A funeral service to honor Paulette's life will be held at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home on September 25, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour of 1:00PM. The community is invited to pay their respects and celebrate the life of this remarkable woman who touched the hearts of many with her kindness and love.
Paulette Brown will be dearly missed but forever remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering love, and enduring legacy of compassion. May she rest in eternal peace.
