Paul Orr, Sr

Mr. Paul Edward Orr, Sr., age 73, died Saturday afternoon in Marshall Medical Center. Mr. Orr was a native of the Rich Creek Community, son of the late James Howard and Gladys Fagan Orr, and a retired Chief Master with the United States Air Force. Bro. Orr was a well-known minister, having preached the gospel for many years in the Churches of Christ. He is survived by his wife of 50 years: Sheila LeVaye Orr; a daughter: Lisa Marie Daniel of Hermitage, TN; 2 sons: Paul E. Orr Jr. of Estill Springs and Jonathan Scott Orr of DeWitt, MI; 2 sisters: Martha Orr Short and Anna Orr Clark, both of Lewisburg; and a brother: Charles Orr of Mississippi. 4 grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home. The family will be at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home from 4:00 - 8:00 PM Monday for visitation, and again on Tuesday until the funeral hour. Bills McGaugh Funeral Home and the United States Forest Service have provided for the planting of a tree in Pauls memory.
