Paul Clark Cook

Paul Clark Cook, 81, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, previously of the Locke Creek Community in Readyville, passed away at his residence on August 2, 2026.

Born on March 26, 1945, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, Paul was the son of the late Jasper "Jack" Cook and the late Annie B. James Cook. He was a class of '63 Cornersville Highschool Graduate. Paul was voted "Most Likely to Succeed" at C.H.S. After graduation, he attended Southern Mississippi University. He faithfully served his country for two tours in the United States Air Force overseas during the Vietnam Era. While serving in the U.S. Air Force. Paul was an electronics instructor stationed at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS. During his overseas tours, he operated the automatic tracking radar (ATR) for the U.S. Forces.

Paul married the love of his life, Sandra Burch Cook, on August 21, 1965, and the couple shared 60 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, devotion, and cherished memories.

A true outdoorsman, Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, and shopping. He was an avid collector of knives and was known as a "jack of all trades," always willing to lend a helping hand on any project. He worked at IBM for 27 years as a Customer Service Engineer and won several awards for excellent customer service throughout. Above all, Paul was a devoted family man who treasured every opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Cook; sons, Ronald Clark Cook and Timothy (Gala) Paul Cook; grandchildren, Stormie (Adam) Brooke Smith, Rivers LaVale Cook, Ayne-Marie Cook, and Daniel (Brooke) Cook; great-grandchildren, Kallie Sage Smith and Woodrow Marlin Smith; sister, Pauline Mullins; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Lou Anderson and Ruth Masters.

A graveside service will be held at Lone Oak Cemetery on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 5:00 PM. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. A Memorial Service for Paul will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be John Williams, Marc Mullins, Troy Whitesell, Carl Anderson, Neyland Burch, and Daniel Cook.
