Nona Ann Cochran Nix

Nona Ann Cochran Nix, age 77 passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, TN. She was a Lewisburg, TN native and a former Miss Marshall County. She was born to the late Oren Earl and Mary McCollum Cochran in 1939. Mrs. Nix was also preceded in death by her son, Mike Alton Baugh. She is survived by two daughters, Vicki Beerman, Columbia, TN, Lisa Ann Baugh, Vinings, GA, one brother, Jimmy Cochran, Lewisburg, TN, seven grandchildren, Steven, Michael, Britney, Nathan, Halley Elizabeth, Shane, Lynzie, and eleven great-grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 2:00 PM in Sunset Park Cemetery at the Mausoleum. There will be no visitation prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to St. Judes Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Notes of condolences may be sent to the family at www.billsmcgaugh.com.
