Nancy Ray Miller

Mrs. Nancy Ray Miller, 86, resident of Lewisburg and former resident of White Bluff, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at NHC Oakwood. A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Saturday, September 7th at 5:00 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 4:00 PM until service time. A Graveside Service will be conducted on Sunday, September 8th at 10:30 AM at EverRest Memorial Gardens, Highway 49 East, Pleasant View, TN 37146. Born on July 3, 1933 in Maceo, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Archie Rogg Barnett and the late Martha Mae Ray. Nancy was reared by Cliffie Barnett, after the passing of her mother. She enjoyed quilting, working with ceramics, and shopping. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her husband, William Melton Miller of Lewisburg; sons, George Leon (Jackie) Jennings of Garvin, OK, Jackie Ray (Laurie) Jennings of Longview, TX, Jeffery Dewayne Jennings of Rosharon, TX; daughters, Estalene Taylor of Lewisburg, Cynthia Charlene (Larry) Hulsey of Murfreesboro; brother, Homer Ray Barnett of Owensboro, KY;14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and Cliffie Barnett, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Beulah Mae Jewell and Kathrine Moore; brothers, Charles Raymond Barnett, James Warren Barnett and Jakey Barnett.
