Nancy Powers Lawrence

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Powers Lawrence, who left us on January 6, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on May 21, 1948, in Lewisburg, TN to Will and Lillian Hunt Powers.

Nancy brought joy and warmth to everyone she met. She was known for her kindness, contagious smile, and unwavering love for her family. A fun aunt to many, she was affectionately known as "Ninnie" and was loved for her generous spirit and the laughter she brought into the lives of her nieces and nephews.

Throughout her life, Nancy had a passion for traveling, with a special love for cruising the open seas. She also had a big heart for animals and often shared her home with furry companions who brought her endless joy.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, David Powers, Dean Powers, and Randy Powers. She is survived by her husband, Steven Lawrence; sister in laws, Linda Powers, Connie Reynolds, Susan (Jim) Rainey; brother in laws, Jeff (MonaBeth) Lawrence and Andy (Connie) Lawrence; Texas family, Ray (Brenda) Shonnon; and best friends, Girls of 66.

Nancy will be missed dearly for her warm nature and the light she brought into our lives.
