Mildred Phillips

Mildred Vaughn Phillips, age 87 of Lewisburg, died Wednesday morning in the Lifecare Center of Columbia. A native of Maury Co., she was the daughter of the late Dyer & Hattie Sharp Vaughn, a hairdresser, and member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband: Garland Phillips. Mrs. Phillips is survived by a sister: Mrs. Pansy Vaughn Wilt of Lewisburg; a brother: Leroy Vaughn of Cornersville; and one nephew: Ray Ledbetter of Lewisburg. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. The family will be at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home from 12:00 noon Thursday until the service hour for visitation.
