Mildred Cheatham

Mrs. Mildred Cheatham, age 81, died Sunday morning in NHC-Oakwood. She was a native of Marshall County, daughter of the late Lee & Josie McCrory, a homemaker, and member of the Lewisburg First Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: Vergil Cheatham. Mrs. Cheatham is survived by three sons: Paul Jackie Cheatham of Dallas, GA, Charlie Lynna Cheatham and Mike Ann Cheatham, both of the South Berlin Community; a sister: Virginia Hazelett of Lewisburg; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a step-grandchild; and 2 step-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday at 10:00 AM in the Rone Cemetery in the South Berlin Community, officiated by Rev. Wayne Morgan. The family will be at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home on Monday from 4:00 8:00 PM for visitation.
