Michael Joe Hayes

Michael Joe Hayes, 49, beloved Brother, Grandfather, Uncle, and Friend was called to his eternal resting place on July 11, 2023. He entered this world on January 2, 1974, in Bridgeport-Stevenson, AL, born to late James and Patsy Hayes Thomas.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 17, 2023, from 4 pm to 7 pm at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home.  Visitation will resume Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 12 noon until the funeral hour of 2 pm, with burial following at Lone Oak Cemetery.

Everybody that knew Michael would call him a good man. Even after he left this world, he kept on giving by being an organ donor. He was a kind and hard-working man, who in his spare time, loved playing basketball and video games.  He was also a connoisseur of food.  As much as he loved these things, it did not compare to the love he had for Khloee Bug.  He would do anything and everything he could for her. 

He is survived by his brother Daniel (Amber) Thomas; brother Jeff Thomas (Stephanie); sister Lisa Thomas (Darren); granddaughter (Khloee Bug) Khloee Thomas; and special friend, (Nene) Tonia Palmer Nash.
