Mrs. Mary Ida Sharp King, age 74 passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at her residence in Huntsville, Alabama.
A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late George Clark Campbell and Ruby Christine Ashby Campbell. She was an avid doll collector, a former employee of the Sanford Corporation and a member of the Church of Christ faith.
Mrs. King is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Roy Sharp, a sister, Bessie Mae Sharp and a brother Wilson Clark Campbell.
Survivors include her husband Glenn King of Huntsville, AL, one sister Judith Ann Campbell of Lewisburg, one brother John Douglas Campbell of Poquoson, VA.
Funeral services for Mrs. King will be conducted on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. Father Bill Kelly officiating.
Visitation with the family will begin on Friday, January 21, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
