Marilyn Hunt Wright, went to be with our Lord and Savior peacefully with her family by her side on August 18, 2025. 

Born on August 28, 1942, the daughter of Rev. Hollis Benton Hunt and Mamie Grimsley Hunt, she graduated from Marshall County High School and Martin Methodist in Pulaski. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lewisburg. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, W. Donald Wright. She was an integral part of Wright’s Pharmacy, and later H&S Pharmacy, doing everything from bookkeeping, cooking hams and her favorite- going to Atlanta market. 

Marilyn is survived by her loving children: Leanna Hunt Wright (Andrew) of Murfreesboro, Bethany Tillman (Bill) of Brentwood, and Will Wright (Eileen) of Forest Hills; her grandchildren: Haley Cole (Patrick), Tyler Wright (Ali), Mary Collins Tillman, and Benton Wright; two great-grandchildren; sister, Karen Hunt White; niece DeLisa White (Edward); and multiple cousins.

Arrangements for a Graveside Inurnment will be announced later. Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
