Margie Hazelwood

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margie Sue Hazelwood, a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, who left us peacefully on November 30, 2024, at the age of 79. Born on January 26, 1945, in Lewisburg, TN, Margie spent her life devoted to her family and friends, and her warmth and kindness touched everyone she met.

Margie will be lovingly remembered as the rock of her family. She had a heart of gold and was always there to take care of her loved ones, providing support, love, and laughter. Her granddaughters, Crystal Reed, Jenny Rich, Ashley Henley, and Misty Appling, were her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

A talented cook, Margie worked for many years at D&D Market, where her culinary skills delighted the customers and her coworkers alike. She had a true passion for cooking and would always whip up something special for those she loved. Margie had an eye for beauty, too, as she collected porcelain dolls and found joy in attending auctions, especially the Bid & Grab Auction every weekend.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Hettie Mae Carter Wilson; husband, Bobby Hazelwood; son, Jeff Fry; daughter, Lisa Henley; brothers, Daffy Wilson, Jay Bird Wilson, and Wallace Wilson; and sister, Louise Stockstill. She is survived by her granddaughters, Crystal Reed, Misty Appling, Jenny Rich, and Ashley Henley; her sister, Barbara Martin; great grandchildren, Connor Henley, Tyler Smith, Brandon Reed, Karlee Appling, Cameron Butcher, and Reese Butcher; numerous great great grandchildren; and many other family and friends.

Margie's kindness and loving spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She may have left this world, but her legacy of love and care will resonate with all of us.
