It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Margaret Dean Rodgers, who entered eternal rest on February 26, 2026, at the age of 86. Margaret was born on April 24, 1939, in Farmington, Tennessee, to Melvin and Laura Louise Mays Dean.

Margaret was a vibrant and caring individual who devoted her life to helping others. She had an unmatched kindness and compassion that endeared her to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Known for her outgoing personality, Margaret loved to travel and explore new places, often embarking on spontaneous driving adventures. She had a unique passion for animals, particularly cats and dogs, often opening her heart and home to them.

An avid bowler, Margaret enjoyed many afternoons at the bowling alley, where she cherished time with friends. She also kept her mind sharp and engaged through jigsaw puzzles, Sudoku, and crossword puzzles, always eager to tackle the next challenge.

Margaret was a member of the Farmington Church of Christ, where she contributed to her community and made lasting friendships.

In celebrating Margaret's remarkable life, her family will hold a funeral service at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 2:30 PM with burial following at Whorley Cemetery.
