Margaret Park

Mrs. Margaret Foster Park, age 88 of Lewisburg, died Tuesday morning in NHC-Lewisburg. A native of Marshall County, she was the youngest and last of four children to George Leonard and Nannie Aldridge Foster. She was retired from Genesco Shoe Company and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lewisburg. Mrs. Park will be remembered for her fantastic cooking and beautiful hat-making talent. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Dennis & Sherry Park; and a grand-daughter: Mallory Park, all of Lewisburg. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home, and Thursday until the service hour. Bills McGaugh Funeral Home and the United States Forest Service have provided for the planting of a tree in memory of Mrs. Park.
