Mr. Larry Lee Newsom, age 71 of Lewisburg, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Marshall Medical Center.
A native of Helena, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Ruth Estell Smith Newsom and Gordia Chester Newsom. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was employed as an Insurance representative for many years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Eva Joe Kent and Nadine Davis.Two brothers, Chester Newsom and Harold Newsom and one grandson Anthony Newsom Jr..
Survivors include his wife Rose Newsom of Mount Herman, LA, three daughters, Estelll Blalock (Mike) of Shelbyville, Shelly Ann Stengard of LA , Cynthia Flores (Victor) of California, one son, Michael Newsom of LA, two brothers, James Newsom of Lewisburg and Frelon Newsom of Texas, one sister, Pat Woody of Alabama, and a loving family friend ,Denise Ledford . 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren .
A memorial service for Mr. Newsom will be conducted on Saturday, December 1st 2012 at 4:00 PM from the Lifesong Family Church with Rocky Cunningham officiating.
