Biography
Lady Ruth Park Carnell, age 90 of Culleoka passed away on Friday, March 15, 2013, in Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia. A native of Tremble, Tennessee, Mrs. Carnell was the daughter of the late Evan Rubert Park and Beulah Mae Spellings Park. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mooresville Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Carnell, who passed away in 2009, two daughters, Rose Marie Carnell and Joyce E. Lusco, two sisters, and a granddaughter, Jessica Danielle Good.

She is survived by two sons, Paul Lyndell (Linda) Carnell, Jr. of Chapel Hill and Ronald Dale (Lydia Ruth) Carnell of Wanatah, Indiana, three daughters, Shirley Darlene Carnell of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Deborah (Keith) Carnell Evans and Jeanne Diane (Norman) Good, both of Culleoka. Seventeen grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren, and nine, great-great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Carnell will be Monday, March 18, 2013, at 11 AM from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Rush and Dr. James Kinslow officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery in Culleoka. Visitation with family will be Sunday, March 17, 2013, from 2 PM to 6 PM at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home and on Monday after 9 AM until the funeral hour.
