Kathy King Boice, age 66 of Lewisburg, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2015 at NHC-Oakwood in Lewisburg.
A native of Claiborne County, Mrs. Boice was the daughter of the late Garrett King and Amanda Murrey King. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Horace and Tracy King, and one sister, Joan King. She is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, Harold Boice of Lewisburg.
She was employed by Moon Pencil and Fairview Market. Mrs. Boice loved the outdoors, which included fishing, gardening, and photography.
In addition to her husband, Kathy is also survived by a daughter, Tracey (Brian) Pullum of Lewisburg; three brothers, Dorsey King of Louisville, KY, Don King of Rising Sun, OH, and Ben King of Tulsa, OK; two granddaughters, Emily Kelley of LaVergne and Allison Kelley of Lewisburg, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on July 11, 2015 at 2pm at Whittaker Church of God in the Wheel Community.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Association,Tennessee Chapter, P. O. Box 40244, Nashville, TN 37204-0244.
