Katherine ' 'Katie Petty

Mrs. Katie Petty, age 90 of Lewisburg, died Saturday evening in NHC-Lewisburg. Mrs. Petty was a native of Caldwell Co, KY, daughter of the late L. G. and Bertie McLean Taylor, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lewisburg. She graduated from Butler High School in Princeton KY and received her nursing degree from the University fo Tennessee at Memphis. Mrs. Petty was preceded in death by her husband: L. E. Petty in 1977, and several brothers and sisters, including Dr. William L. Taylor of Lewisburg. Mrs. Petty is survived by her son: Bill Petty; and a sister: Mrs. Beulah Wilson, both of Lewisburg; along with several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted Monday at 3:00 PM in Lone Oak Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home, and again on Monday from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour.
