Judy Barron

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judith Ann Barron, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, who left this world on July 31, 2026, at the age of 68. Born in Lewisburg, TN, Judy spent her life surrounded by her cherished family, who were the center of her world and the source of her greatest joy.

Judy was a passionate lover of all things culinary, particularly a fantastic Coconut Creme Cake that she took great pride in baking. Her love for food extended beyond her kitchen; she enjoyed tasting exquisite dishes, with a special fondness for Cajun cuisine, especially Étouffée. Judy also happily shared her heart with her beloved Yorkies throughout her life, with her last cherished companion being Coco.

An outgoing spirit, Judith was known for her politeness, strong will, and determination to achieve what she desired. She had a zest for life that led her to enjoy music, entertainment, and travel, with New Orleans holding a special place in her heart.

Judy’s spiritual journey began at the East Commerce Baptist Church, where her Christian faith was nurtured and strengthened. She faced various physical challenges throughout her life, yet her undying spirit and love for her family and friends never waned.

In honor of Judy's life and the love she brought to those around her, funeral services will take place on at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home where friends and family will gather to celebrate her remarkable life, share cherished memories, and honor her legacy. Burial will follow at Head Springs Cemetery in Belfast. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Anne Williams Barron. She is survived by her brother, David (Ruth) Barron of Nashville, nephew, Dylan Barron of Nashville, niece, Kendall Barron of Bishop, California, aunts, Nancy (Ronald) Aldridge of Lewisburg and Juanita (Will) Grandstaff of Lebanon, uncle, Wendell (Bell) Williams of Nashville, former husband, Richard Watson, special friend, Peter Berger of Canada, and numerous of family members.

Judith "Judy" Ann Barron will be remembered for her loving spirit, her love for exquisite food, and her unwavering devotion to her family. Her laughter and warmth will be dearly missed but will forever echo in the hearts of all who knew her
