John "Buck" A. Williams

John Anthony “Buck” Williams, 70, resident of Lewisburg, died on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Sunday, December 1st at 2:00 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home with Trent Alexander officiating. Interment will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Sunday, December 1st from 12:00 PM until time of service at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton. Born on June 17, 1949 in Bedford County, he was the son of the late John E. Williams and the late Helen Adcox Williams. He was a retired employee of Heil Quaker. Buck enjoyed working on the farm and with his cattle. He was known as a man that liked to piddle, and work on old cars and trucks. Mr, Williams was a member of Bell Buckle Church of Christ. Survivors include his daughter, Julie (Tracy) Locke of Cornersville; stepsons, Ben Harris of Lewisburg, Jason Buchanan of Nashville; sisters, Diane Cline and Betty Bomar both of Shelbyville; and brother, David Williams of Shelbyville. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Savage Williams; and two brothers, Robert Terry Williams and Kevin Michael Williams. Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
