John Blackwell

Biography John Thomas "J. T." Blackwell, age 73 of Belfast, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2014 at his residence. A native of Marshall County, Mr. Blackwell was the son of the late Clarence Blackwell and Oma Rogers Blackwell. He was self-employed and enjoyed doing small engine repair. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Jason Linley and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Kathlene "Kitty" Blackwell of Belfast; five sons, Tony (Dawn) Blackwell, Ken Blackwell, Ritchie Blackwell, Linton Blackwell, and Chris Blackwell; one daughter, Shelia Linley; three sisters, Patricia (Billy) Callahan, Mildred Foster, and Annie Lou Darnell; and one brother, Harold Blackwell. Funeral services for Mr. Blackwell will be held Monday, April 28, 2014, at 2 PM from the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Mike Giles officiating. Burial will follow in Short Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, April 27, 2014, from 4 PM until 8 PM at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home. Condolences of sympathy may be sent to www.billsmcgaugh.com.
