Joe Billy Pruitt

Mr. Joe Billy Pruitt, age 84, died Saturday in Hillside Hospital in Pulaski. A native of Marshall County, he was the son of the late Willie & Ruby Pruitt and retired from Faber-Castell with over 30 years of service. He grew up in the Yell Community and was raised in the New Hope Methodist Church. Mr. Pruitt was a member of the Petersburg United Methodist Church. He is survived by two sisters: Opal Pruitt Orr of Lewisburg and Dorcas Pruitt Little of Nashville; and two nephews: Douglas Pruitt Orr and William Joseph Orr. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Cochran Cemetery. The family will be at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00-8:00 for visitation, and Tuesday morning until the funeral hour.
