Joe Hudson

Mr. Hudson died Saturday afternoon in Marshall Medical Center. A native of Lincoln county, he was the son of the late William F. and Bena Barnes Hudson, self-employed carpenter, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Lewisburg, where he had served as a deacon. He also served his country in the United States Army during World War II. Preceded in death by his wife, Elise R. Hudson in 1985 and a daughter, Brenda Young in 1995, he is survived by a daughter, Kathy Hudson Lewisburg, grandchildren, Angela Pickle Lewisburg, Joey Young Shelbyville, and Boyd Young Tullahoma, and a great-grand-daughter, Macey Joyce Pickle. Memorial donations may be made to the Building Fund of the First Baptist Church, P O Box 1308, Lewisburg, TN 37091. Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home and the United States Forest Service have provided for the planting of a tree in memory of Mr. Hudson.
