Jimmy Charles Davis

Jimmy Charles Davis, Sr., 71, resident of the Hardison Mills Community, died Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Born on May 27, 1947 in Columbia, he was the son of the late Lloyd Davis and the late Gracie Mae Ramsey Davis. He was a farmer for many years, and later in life enjoyed tinkering with lawn mowers. Jimmy enjoyed cutting grass and fishing. Survivors include his sons, Billy Davis of Lewisburg, Jimmy (Tashana) Davis, Jr. of Williamsport; daughter, Melissa Brumley of Columbia; daughter-in-law, Marie Davis of Lewisburg; brother, Willy Paul Davis of Lewisburg; mother of his children, Carolyn Davis; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton. Burial will follow in Ring Cemetery.
