Jimmie W. Cochran

Jimmie W. Cochran, age 81, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at NHC-Lewisburg. He was a Marshall County native born on October 20, 1936 to Oren Earl and Mary McCollum Cochran. After serving in the United States Air Force Jimmie was an employee of Teledyne-Brown Engineering and retired after thirty five years service. He loved fishing and raising Beefalo cattle. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Along with his parents, Earl and Mary Cochran, Jimmie was preceded in death by a sister, Nona Cochran Nix and nephew Mike Baugh. He is survived by his wife; Fay Woodward Cochran, Lewisburg, TN, two sons; David (Roma) Cochran, Brentwood, TN, Timothy Cochran, Lewisburg, TN, two nieces; two grandchildren; Emery Joseph, Franklin, TN, Luke Cochran, Brentwood, TN, and two great-grandchildren; Addie Tyne Joseph and Delta Belle Joseph both of Franklin, TN. There will be no public visitation. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 11:00 am in Temple Cemetery, Farmington Community, with Leslie Chadwick officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, Donation Processing, P. O. Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5014 in Mr. Cochran's memory or to any charity of your choice.
