Jessie Ruth Ward

Jessie Ruth Crouch Ward, 94, longtime resident of Lewisburg, died on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at NHC Columbia. The family will visit with friends on Friday, August 14th from 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. at Sunset Park Memorial Gardens with Pastor Dr. Tom Dumser officiating. Born on November 22, 1925 in Fayetteville, she was the daughter of the late Jess Crouch and the late Lela May Smith. She was a retired employee of Faber Castell Corporation and enjoyed gardening. Mrs. Ward was a devoted member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Garry Ward of Lewisburg; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Ward, Sr. and son, Forrest Ward, Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
