Jerry Whitsett

Jerry Jerome Whitsett, age 67 of Lewisburg, passed away on Wednesday, November 27th, 2013 at his residence. A native of Marshall County, he was the son of the late James Whitsett and Ludelia Hendon Whitsett. He was a member of the Church of Christ, Army National Guard of sixteen years, employed at Heil-Quaker Corporation for twenty-years and owner of Main Street Retirement Home in Cornersville for twenty-three years. He is survived by his wife of forty-six years Peggy Ann Glenn Whitsett of Lewisburg, two daughters Kathy (Joe) McCullough and Janet (Mike) Luna of Lewisburg, three grandchildren Dillon Davenport, Colton Luna, Katie Davenport, one step-grandchild Lindsey McCullough, one brother Ted Whitsett and two nephews Justin and Jamie Whitsett. Funeral services for Mr. Whitsett will be Saturday, November 30th, 2013 at 1 P.M. from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Rocky Cunningham officiating and burial with military honors in Beechwood Cemetery in Cornersville. Visitation with the family will be Friday, November 29th, 2013 from 4 P. M. to 8 P.M. at the funeral home and after 11 A.M. on Saturday Pallbearers are Mike Luna, Joe McCullough, Dillon Davenport, Colton Luna, Justin Whitsett and Jamie Whitsett.
