Jerry Ladon Thomason

Jerry LaDon Thomason, 79, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at NHC Oakwood in Lewisburg.

Jerry was born to Allie Ray Thomason and Raymond Eugene Thomason on September 11, 1944, in Lewisburg. He graduated from Marshall County High School in 1962. Jerry married Charolette Hicks, of Summertown, Tennessee, on January 16, 1965, in Florence, AL. He worked as a welder for the CSX Railroad for 25 years and was a long-time member at Smyrna Church of Christ.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, 12 brothers and sisters, and a grandson.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 59 years, Charolette; sons, Kerry Thomason (Mary) and Scott Thomason; daughter, Jennifer Flicek (Michael); grandchildren, Samantha Garcia (Ryan), Cody Flicek, and Eli Flicek; many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Bills McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lone Oak Cemetery. Kerry Thomason, Scott Thomason, Michael Flicek, Cody Flicek, and Eli Flicek will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made in Jerrys memory to Alzheimers Tennessee at www.alzTennessee.org.
