James Smith

James Calvin Smith, age 50 of Belfast, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at his residence. A native of Athens, Alabama, Mr. Smith was the son of the late Mearl Wayne Smith, who was from Alabama and Elbalene Burgett Thompson of Belfast.

Along with his mother, he is also survived by two brothers, Paul Smith and David Smith of the Caney Springs Community, and two sisters, Jeannie (Jeff) Reese and Jamie (William) McDaniel both of Lewisburg. Three nephews, one niece, four great-nieces, and one great nephew also survive.

Visitation with the family will be held Monday, September 30, 2013, at Lifesong Family Church from 5PM to 7 PM. A memorial service will be held at 7 PM. A private inurnment service will be held Tuesday at Allen Cemetery in the Caney Springs Community.
