James Sharpe

Biography
James Thomas Sharpe, age 80 of Lewisburg, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia.
Mr. Sharpe was a native of Marshall County, and was the son of the late Ramsey Sharpe and Katie King Sharpe of Lewisburg, who survives. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Paul Sharpe. He was employed and retired from ICP.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Sharpe is also survived by his loving wife of sixty-two years, Mable Ruth Slaughter Sharpe; two sons, Marty and Neal Sharpe; granddaughters, Jamie Woodard and Cadence Rowe. Grandson, Travis Sharpe; great-grandson, Ethan Myles Woodard; great granddaughter, Skylar Sharpe; two sisters, Elaine Johnson and Mary Elizabeth Blackwell; and a brother, Walter "W.C." Sharpe. Niece, Diane ( Everett) Luna all of Lewisburg.
A private graveside service will be held Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Lone Oak Cemetery in Lewisburg.
