James Oliver

Larry 'Ollie' Oliver, age 50 of Lewisburg, died Friday evening, March 29, in NHC-Merihil following a short battle with cancer. Larry was born in Columbia, TN in 1951 to the late Raymond B. and Sarah Cummings Oliver, Sr. He was employed with International Comfort Products of Lewisburg and was an avid fan of the Colts and Vanderbilt University Sports. In recent months, he had become a member of the Church Street Church of Christ. He is survived by a daughter and son: Farrah Oliver and Chris Oliver, both of Lewisburg; 3 sisters: Corrine Goatz, Geraldine Fisher, and Janice Johnson; and 2 brothers: Billy Oliver and Raymond B. Oliver, Jr., all of Maury County, TN. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 1 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home by James Watkins and Bob Vasser. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery in Culleoka.
