Henry Newcomb

Henry Newcomb, age 76 of Lewisburg, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at his residence after a long illness. Mr. Newcomb was a native of Maury County and was the son of the late Ulna and Ora Newcomb. He was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Henry was a retired diesel mechanic, was of the Christian faith, and served his country in the United States Navy. Survivors include his wife, Dorothea Newcomb of Lewisburg; two sons, Henry Newcomb, Jr. of Lewisburg and David Newcomb of Nashville; two daughters, Anna Marie Newcomb and Nancy Williams, both of Nashville; one stepson, Paul Newcomb of Nashville, and several grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Newcomb will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Roger Reid officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Park Cemetery in Lewisburg. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from 4 PM until 8 PM at the funeral home.
