It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gulberto Olascoaga Jaimes, who departed this life on March 12, 2026, at the age of 55. Born on July 10, 1970, Gulberto was a dedicated and hardworking individual who devoted many years of his life working at US Tank in Lewisburg. His commitment to his job was only rivaled by his immense love for his family.
Gulberto was a proud grandfather. His grandchildren were truly the light of his life. He cherished every moment spent with them, creating memories that will be held dear in the hearts of his loved ones. A man who understood the importance of responsibility, always prioritizing what truly mattered while also cherishing every moment of joy that life offered.
An avid music lover, Gulberto found happiness in the melodies that filled his life. Gulberto enjoyed spending time outdoors, finding joy in nature and the simple pleasures of life. His love for music and the outdoors reflected his vibrant spirit and his ability to appreciate the beauty around him.
Gulberto Olascoaga Jaimes will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and his capacity to find joy in everyday life. His absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew him.
Gulberto is preceded in death by his parents, Eriberto Olascoaga and Nisefora Jaimes. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Torres Gonzalez, sons, Gulberto “Tito” Olascoaga (Kim Orozco), Eriberto “Eddie” Olascoaga (Lieymi Orozco), and Jesus Olascoaga, daughter, Nisefora “Nise” Olascoaga, brothers, Joaquin Mojica (Virginia Garcia), Raul Olascoaga, Jesus Olascoaga, and Marcos Olascoaga, sisters, Scnobia Olascoaga, Marfaida Olascoaga, and Norma Olascoaga, and grandchildren, Marcelia Olascoaga, Alaia Olascoago, Kian Hernandez, Reign Olascoaga, Genesis Olascoaga, Devin Compton, Sofia Orozco, Johnny Garcia, and Ethan Garcia.
A funeral service for Gulberto will be at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM with burial following at Sunset Park. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Bills McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home and will resume Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 12:00 PM and continue until the funeral service at 2:00 PM.
