Gordon Dale Haag, age 81, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2026, at Elk River Health and Nursing Center in Ardmore, Tennessee.
Gordon was born on February 9, 1945, in Modesto, California, to the late Frank Joseph Haag and the late Alice Elizabeth Chambers Haag. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for six years during the Vietnam War.
Gordon married the love of his life, Connie Zimmerman, and they spent 45 wonderful years together as devoted husband and wife. He was a retired car salesman who had a natural gift for selling cars and could “sell anything.” In his later years, Gordon enjoyed working at Roosters Liquidation in Chapel Hill.
Gordon loved life and could often be found on his farm, where he enjoyed raising and caring for the many horses he owned throughout the years. He was known for his fun-loving personality, quick wit, and love of joking around. Gordon had a way of making those around him laugh and was always ready to have a good time. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and foster parent.
In addition to his wife, Connie Haag, Gordon is survived by his daughters, Marci Lynn Haag Densmore and Trisha Renee Haag Edwards; step-son, Steven Lynn Offil; sister, Sharon Beech; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, and foster child, Jenna Furlong.
