Biography
Genell Price, age 86 , passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at NHC- Lewisburg.
Miss Price was a native of Giles County, the daughter of the late Clarence Franklin Price and Tishie Mai Luker Price. Miss Price worked for John Deere and Kusan as an Administrative Assistant for many years until her retirement and was a member of McKendree Methodist Church in Nashville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters; Bessie Frank Carrigan and Margaret Little and one brother; James Welton Price.
Survivors include a sister-in- law; Melba Price of Cornersville, seven nieces and nephews; Von Carrigan and Elaine Pennington of Montgomery, AL, Marnell Ginsburg of Alpharetta, GA; Brenda Miller of Murfreesboro, TN; Sharon Byrd of Shelbyville, TN; Gerald Carrigan of Montgomery, AL and Ralph Carrigan of Birmingham.
Funeral services for Miss Price will be conducted on Monday, April 6, 2015, at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Reid officiating. Burial will follow in Short Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service on Monday.
